Leksand Goaltender to Prep School

Goaltender, Fredrik Melander of Leksands IF Juniors has committed to Trinity-Pawling School located in Pawling, New York. The Lions are coached by Rob Hutchinson and play a very competitive schedule versus other prestigious prep schools out East.

Melander played the past 2 seasons with the Leksands IF U18 AAA and Junior A teams and is a solid goaltender that plays a strong positional game. Due to his terrific skating he is able to read and react to the play very well.

Melander born in 93 is also a straight – A student. He will try to earn a diploma and eventually explore collegiate opportunities in the United States.
